Sharon's yummy cheese ball
1 block cream cheese
1 Tbsp shredded cheddar cheese
1 tsp. green onion cut up
about 2 to 3 inches of one carrot cut up.
Butterscotch Cake Bread
1 pk yellow cake mix
1 pk (3.4oz) butterscotch pudding
1 cup butterscotch chips
1 cup milk
1/4 cup oil
1/4 cup water
1 tsp pure vanilla
4 eggs
Preheat oven to 350
Mix cake mix, pudding, eggs, milk, oil, water and vanilla until smooth and creamy. Add butterscotch chips, mixing well or they go to the bottom. Grease two 9x5 loaf pans with butter and lightly sprinkle with sugar. Bake for 45 min or until done. If you have extra chips you can sprinkle a few on top about 3/4 of the way done.
Teresa's Shortbread
1/2 C butter, unsalted, about room temp
1 1/3 C flour, unbleached, sifted
1/3 C sugar
Preheat oven to 325 degrees.
Cream butter with flour until butter is evenly distributed.
Mix in sugar and knead on a clean surface.
(The recipe does not call for water but I used a little just to get the mixture to bind.)
Form into a ball; roll out to a circle of 1/2" thickness.
Score the circle into wedges like a pizza.
Use a fork to poke 'holes' on the shortbread.
Using an egg wash (or milk or water), brush the top of the shortbread and then sprinkle sugar over.
Bake for app 10min or until lightly browned at the edges.
Pull out, let cool and ENJOY!!
